Phoenix CO2 Laser Resurfacing at LuXe Concierge Aesthetics

Aging, sun damage, and environmental factors can take a toll on your skin, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, sunspots, and uneven texture. The Phoenix CO2 Fractional Laser at LuXe Concierge Aesthetics offers a powerful, non-surgical solution for skin resurfacing and collagen regeneration, helping to restore a youthful, radiant complexion. Unlike traditional ablative lasers, fractional CO2 technology creates microscopic channels in the skin, allowing for faster healing, safer treatments, and more dramatic rejuvenation with less downtime.

Phoenix CO2 Laser is ideal for treating:

  • Fine to moderately deep wrinkles
  • Sun damage & hyperpigmentation
  • Acne scars & surgical scars
  • Uneven skin tone & rough texture
  • Crepey skin & laxity

How Phoenix CO2 Laser Works

The Phoenix CO2 Laser delivers precise pulses of laser energy into the skin, creating tiny microscopic zones of controlled damage. These micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural healing process, stimulating collagen production and replacing old, damaged skin cells with fresh, new ones. This results in firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

Key benefits include:

  • Reduces fine lines, wrinkles & acne scars
  • Improves skin tone, texture & elasticity
  • Stimulates collagen for long-term skin strengthening
  • Enhances overall skin brightness & clarity
  • Delivers significant results with a shorter recovery time compared to traditional CO2 laser

How Does CO2 Laser Compare to Other Laser Treatments?

Unlike IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or non-ablative lasers, fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is an ablative treatment, meaning it removes the outer skin layer to promote deep skin regeneration. This leads to more dramatic and long-lasting results.

  • CO2 Laser is Ablative – Removes the outer skin layer for more significant improvements.
  • Fractional Technology – Treats only a fraction of the skin at a time, allowing for faster healing.
  • Deep Collagen Stimulation – Leads to firmer, smoother skin over time.
  • Long-Lasting Results – While non-ablative lasers provide milder improvements, CO2 resurfacing offers more dramatic skin renewal.

What to Expect During Your CO2 Laser Treatment

This in-office procedure is performed under topical anesthesia for maximum comfort. Depending on your skin concerns, we can adjust the depth and intensity of the treatment to target specific areas such as the entire face, eyes, mouth, forehead, neck, hands, or scars. Most sessions take 30-60 minutes, and results continue to improve over several months as collagen rebuilds.

Enhance Your Results with Advanced Post-Laser Serums

Following Phoenix CO2 Laser Resurfacing, your skin is in its most receptive state, making it the perfect time to apply medical-grade serums that accelerate healing, stimulate collagen production, and enhance overall skin rejuvenation. At LuXe Concierge Aesthetics, we offer five advanced post-laser serum options to optimize your results and promote faster recovery.

💧 Toskani Serums – A potent blend of sodium DNA, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants, designed to hydrate, repair, and strengthen the skin barrier while reducing inflammation and enhancing skin regeneration.

🧬 Rejuran (Polynucleotides) – Derived from salmon DNA fragments, this regenerative treatment stimulates fibroblasts, repairs damaged skin, and boosts collagen synthesis for deep tissue renewal and long-lasting skin rejuvenation.

PDO Afterglow – A cutting-edge polydioxanone (PDO) peptide serum that boosts collagen production, improves elasticity, and enhances skin firmness, providing an immediate glow and long-term skin strengthening.

🩸 PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) – A natural autologous regenerative treatment using your bodys own platelets and growth factors to accelerate healing, reduce post-laser redness, and stimulate new collagen formation for optimal skin recovery.

🌿 Ariessence Pure PDGF+ – A platelet-derived growth factor serum that promotes advanced wound healing, cellular regeneration, and collagen stimulation, helping to repair and rejuvenate post-laser skin at a deeper level.

By incorporating these post-laser serums into your Phoenix CO Laser Resurfacing treatment, you can experience faster recovery, enhanced hydration, and long-lasting rejuvenation with even more dramatic skin improvements.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

To ensure the best possible results, follow these pre-treatment instructions:

  • Hydrate well for at least 2 days before your procedure.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure for 2 weeks before treatment.
  • Discontinue alcohol, NSAIDs (Aspirin, Aleve, Motrin), and fish oil supplements at least 24 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising.
  • Bring a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses to protect your skin after treatment.
  • Follow any pre-treatment skincare regimen prescribed by your provider.

Post-Treatment Care

Days 1-4:

  • Swelling is normal—sleep with your head elevated for the first 2 nights to reduce swelling.
  • Expect mild discomfort, similar to a sunburn, for 1-2 hours post-treatment—cool compresses may be used.
  • Gently cleanse the skin twice daily using:
    • A mild cleanser like Cetaphil or CeraVe, or a cleanser provided by your provider.
    • A diluted vinegar solution (8 oz of water + 1 tsp white vinegar) as an alternative.
  • Keep skin moisturized at all times with Aquaphor or a provider-recommended moisturizer.
  • Avoid all other skincare products unless instructed by your provider.
  • Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the treated skin.
  • Strictly avoid sun exposure—apply SPF 30+ sunscreen when going outdoors.

Days 5-10:

  • Healing time varies by individual—your skin may still appear pink or slightly sensitive.
  • Continue avoiding direct sun exposure for at least 4 weeks—for best results, protect your skin for up to 6 months.
  • Your skin will be more sensitive to UV rays—use a broad-spectrum sunscreen containing Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide (SPF 30+).
  • Wear a 4-inch wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses whenever possible.
  • Consult with your provider before resuming makeup and exercise to prevent irritation.
  • If you have darker skin, you may be at higher risk for hyperpigmentation. Notify your provider immediately if you notice any areas of darkening or discoloration.
